If you had to chose one of the two situations, which would you prefer and why?

Having a player to your right who never attack your blinds, and only raise with premium hands ort a player to your left who will fold his blinds for a steal raise with anything but a premium hand?

Just want to make sure...the player on my right, are you talking about him playing when he is the button, or when he is the SB and I am the BB. I am assuming you are implying he is the button, and the player on my left is the blind when I am the button.

Personally, I'll take the player on my left, because I have position on him being the button. I think with regards to the blind money...both money that you can steal, or blinds of yours that are left alone are fairly break even...but having position is a big enough advantage that I'd take that scenario every time.

My other question would be...while these players will only raise with premium hands, what will the player on my right do with a medium hand...something like 10J suited? Will he limp?

ctually I was thinking of two different situations - one with a player to your left not defending his blinds and another with a player to my right never attacking my blind. Which of the two is the most beneficial?

The reason I ask is that players who don't attack my blind, usually don't defent their blinds much either. So which side of him do I want to sit if I can chose myself?

A player this weak/tight...I'd prefer to have on my left. I'll save the seat to my right for a maniac I need position on.

I prefer the guy I can steal from as the guy who always steals I can get creative with check raise bluffs and gamble it up with him...if he is also talented after the flop, it's a push...I don't like getting my steals called by junk from a creative player that isn't quick to give up on the flop...the dream scenario is a guy who calls my blind steals, then routinely gives up on the flop if he misses
